William Lannon, age 74 died after his battle with cancer, surrounded by loved ones at St. Frances Hospital on March 15th. He is survived by his loving, devoted wife Marge Lannon, brother Joseph (wife Pat); sister Mary Ann (husband Thomas); and brother in law, Al. William was a dedicated father of three to Billy Jr (wife Jeanette); John (wife Shannon); Daughter Michelle and Adopted Father to June, Joseph Jr, Gina, John and Edward. He was a proud grandfather to David, Isabella, Drake, Hunter, Willow, Delilah, John and Jason and proud Uncle of Daniel, Stephanie, Christopher and Thomas.
William loved to entertain others, whether telling them a story, singing and playing his guitar, or enjoying a good joke (usually telling it). He made it his mission to make others smile whenever possible. His passion for music, photography, comedy and Lionel trains were shared and enjoyed by all who loved him. William was a leader, who retired from Lucent to start his own business with Marge by his side. He loved his work and shared himself and his family with his clients through holiday celebrations, that he and Marge hosted. William was a supporter of the Deaf and hearing impaired, lover of animals and a true friend to many. His outreach and charitable contributions helped the lives of many. William was most known for the love and care of his bride, Marge. He was a doting husband, whose love was always visible. His storytelling, support, genuine concern, smile, guitar strumming and laugh will be missed. We all look forward to the day we get to hear him tell us about the next chapter of his story.
