Betty was a student in my fall 2016 general chemistry laboratory class. She was a lovely girl and a studious individual. She and her lab partner worked so well together. I was happy to see their smiling faces at a fire drill the following semester and have a few moments to talk with them. Betty was a sweet person--exactly the kind of student every teacher wants in his/her class. She will be missed and fondly remembered. I send my condolences to her family. May her soul be at peace.

To Betty's family,
I was shocked and deeply saddened to learn of Betty's passing. She was in my Calculus class and was a very sweet and intelligent young woman. It was a pleasure to have her in my class. She was friendly with other students and always trying her best.
Please accept my condolences and sympathies, as I know this is an unbelievable loss for all of her family, friends, and teachers. My heart is with you.

I personally don't know Betty. But being father of a daughter of Betty's same age, I feel the pain of her parents. May God bless them and give them the courage to bear this great loss!

I never knew this child but regardless, she's all of our child as God is our father no matter what, who, color, Creed or religion.
This young lady graduated with some family friends from NHP memorial and to see these types of trajedies is very painful and it's a reflection on how we need to have open communication with one another and especially children for they go thru a lot thru these growing years and with growing pain. My heart goes out to the parents, family friends and all.
God has her in his caring arms, she's safe now, without pain and we pray for the family and all.
