Obituary of Robert J. Frey

Robert Joseph Frey October 16, 1943 - August 5, 2022 It is with very saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Robert J. Frey (Bob). Bob was a wonderful husband, a great father and a very proud Grandpa to five adoring grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife Judith (Judy) of 55 years, his son Gregory (Lisa) and daughter Kimberly Middlebrook (Joseph). He was grandfather to Constantino Frey (19), Nicholas Frey (16), Christian Frey (14), Jackson Middlebrook (9) and Savannah Middlebrook (6). Bob spent most of his life serving his country and community. Bob proudly served in the Army during the Viet Nam War followed by a distinguished 20 year career as a New York City Police Officer. Bob passed away while enjoying his home in Marco Island, Florida. This is where Bob and Judy spent many happy days of peace and hours of quiet serenity. We will all miss his great smile, infectious laugh and his genuine love of his family and friends. Bob's legacy will live on as a model of positivity and perseverance.
