Nicolina Montoni

Obituary of Nicolina Montoni

It is with deep sadness that the family of Nicolina Montoni announces her peaceful passing on May 1, 2025 at the age of 93.

Born on December 16, 1931, in Torrice, Italy to Pasquale and Cristina Paniccia, Nicolina brought warmth, strength, and love to everyone who had the joy of knowing her. She built a beautiful life centered around family, tradition, and the simple pleasures that brought her joy.

Nicolina was the beloved wife of the late Andrea Montoni, and together they created a legacy of love and devotion that continues through their children, Maria Teresa and Arduino, daughter-in-law, Ann Marie, & son-in-law, Nino.  She was the proud and cherished grandmother to Michael, Anthony, Andrew, Christina and her husband Daniel Zirpoli, and Alexander. Her love reached a new generation through her great-grandchildren, Giana Rose and Olivia Nicole.

She is also survived by her loving sister Domenica, dear brothers Bernardino and Enrico, sister-in-law Gina Montoni, nieces and nephews, and grand-nieces and grand-nephews, who, along with her family, carry forward the spirit of togetherness and resilience that Nicolina embodied.

Nicolina had a deep love for her Italian heritage, often expressing it through her delicious cooking and treasured family recipes. She found joy and peace in her garden, took pride in her sewing, and found her greatest happiness in the company of her family.

Her unwavering strength, kind heart, and nurturing presence will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
