Luciano Penasso 83 from Astoria NY passed away on Monday May 12, 2025. He was born on May 31, 1941, in Asti, Italy. 

He leaves behind his devoted wife of 61 years Rose (Finati) Penasso; his cherished daughters and sons-in-law, Linda Romano (Vincent) and Diane Bologna (Nick). His pride and joy, his 6 grandchildren, Jonathan Romano, Andrew Romano, Kristen Romano, Alyssa Bologna, Nicholas Bologna and Michael Bologna. His brother-in law Fred Finati and sister-in-law Palma Finati and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends.

Luciano is predeceased by parents Luigi Penasso and Adelaide (Martinette) Penasso, his brothers Dario Penasso and Aldo Penasso, his sisters Rita Follo and Anna Giampaolo, sister-in-law Tomasina Penasso and brother-in-law Dario Follo.

Luciano was a proud member of the Bricklayers union for forty years, a craft he learned from his father. 

He was a devoted husband, father and nonno.  He loved spending time with his family and playing with his grandkids.  He loved visiting his extended family in Italy.  He was also a loyal Yankees fan and rarely missed a game.
