Obituary of Frank Gerard Diamond

Frank Gerard Diamond was born in Queens, NY on Sept 23, 1955 and passed away on May 24, 2025 at the age of 69. He was a devoted husband, survived by his wife of 40 years, Joanne Diamond.  He was a loving father, survived by his sons and daughter-in-laws Gerry (Liz) and Chris (Elaina). He was an adored Pop Pop to his two grandchildren, Brooks and Oliver. He is also survived by his beloved dog Keller.  His extended family is large; he was well loved. 

Frank spent his whole life serving the community - a NYPD police officer for 32 years and volunteer firefighter in Garden City, NY for 30 years. 

He was a diehard Mets, Jets, and Rangers fan, attending many games over the years with his sons. He loved golf, softball, and traveling. He was Mr. Fix-it for his family and the community. His grandsons were the light of his life.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frank's name to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
