Obituary of Joseph Paul Duszak

Joseph “Joe” Duszak, of Franklin Square, New York, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2025. He was known for his infectious laugh and generous heart; Joe will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Born on August 13, 1965, in the Bronx, Joe was the beloved son of Stefania and Stanislaw Duszak. He grew up surrounded by the love and camaraderie of his siblings: the late Stanislaw Duszak, Bronislaw Duszak, Teresa Pisarczyk, Bogumila Marszalek, and the late Elzbieta Leszczynski. Joe remained close to his family throughout his life, cherishing every moment spent together.

On October 13, 1990, Joe married the love of his life, Ellen. Together they built a warm and joyful home, later welcoming their son Joey and daughter LeAna. He was a proud father-in-law to Elizabeth and Brandon, as his family became complete in June 2025.

Joe was a devoted father to Joey and LeAna, with his biggest accomplishments begin Joey following his dream to become a professional hockey player and LeAna with her persistent determination to become a Registered Nurse.

Joe loved vacationing in Aruba and spending time at both his lake house and Florida home, surrounded with his family and friends. To know Joe, was to love Joe and to share a funny story. He lived life to the fullest.
