Elias "Louie" Halvatzis Obituary

We are heartbroken to share the passing of Elias Halvatzis. Born in Greece, Elias “Louie” came to America young, proudly served in the U.S. Navy, built a very successful business in the Fur market, and served as a New York City firefighter. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, he lived life to the fullest — always smiling, sharing his quick wit and fun sarcasm, traveling, golfing, and enjoying a good vodka and cigar with family and friends. He touched countless lives with his humor, warmth, and generous spirit, and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
