Obituary of Marie A. Trovato
Marie Trovato, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2025, at the age of 89. Born on October 13, 1936, in Flushing, New York, Marie lived a life full of love, laughter, and creativity that touched everyone who knew her. Marie was the cherished daughter of the late Vincent and Beatrice Colucci and the devoted twin sister of the late Raymond Colucci. She was also predeceased by her beloved husband, John Trovato, with whom she shared many wonderful years of marriage and memories. She is survived by her loving children, Robert Callahan (Donna) and Diane Coppeta (Antonio), and her adored grandchildren, Michael Callahan, Jaclyn Coppeta, and Andrew Coppeta — all of whom brought her endless pride and joy. Marie had a zest for life that never dimmed. She loved to travel, explore new places, and find beauty in the world around her. A talented crafter and decorator, she especially delighted in preparing her home for Christmas, turning the holiday into a magical celebration of warmth and joy. Those who knew Marie will remember her as funny, outgoing, and deeply compassionate — someone who could fill a room with laughter and light. Everyone loved Marie! Even in her final days, she showed incredible inner strength and grace, reminding everyone around her of the power of resilience and love. Marie’s legacy of generosity, humor, and heart will continue to live on in her family and all those blessed to have known her.
