Shreemattie Megnath passed away peacefully on November 13th, 2025 and recently celebrated her 73rd birthday enveloped by so much love.

Born in Berbice, Guyana, she lived a life defined by quiet strength, generosity, and unconditional love. She married Ronald, her devoted husband of over 50 years, and together they built a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unwavering core family values.

As a mom, she poured her heart into raising her family with patience, gentleness, and grace. She was also a cherished mother-in-law, a loving aunt to many, and a deeply treasured sister to siblings and their spouses. Her joy multiplied with the arrival of her grandchildren, who adored her deeply and brought endless light to her days.

Known for her kindness, humility, and ability to make everyone feel cared for, she touched countless lives whether through a warm meal, a thoughtful phone call, or her comforting presence. She faced life’s challenges with courage and dignity, and her resilience became a quiet inspiration to all who knew her.

She held close to her Hindu faith throughout her life, guided by the teachings and values that brought her peace and purpose. Her spiritual grounding shaped the way she loved, forgave, and gave so selflessly.

She leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and family devotion that will continue to live on through those who were blessed to know her.
