Obituary of Vasilios Gerazounis

Vasili Gerazounis

To know him was truly to love him. Vasili Gerazounis had an infectious personality and a laugh that was contagious. He was full of life, warmth, and spirit, and he touched many lives simply by being who he was.

He was kind, good-hearted, and deeply spiritual. He carried no judgment in his heart and loved everyone openly, with compassion and acceptance. People felt seen, welcomed, and at ease in his presence.

He leaves behind three loving children and seven cherished grandchildren, who were the joy of his life. He is also survived by two sisters, a sister-in-law, nieces and nephews, and grand-nieces and grand-nephews, all of whom loved him dearly.

While our hearts grieve, we find peace in knowing that he is no longer suffering. We believe he is now reunited with the loved ones who have gone before him—especially his one and only true love, his wife. They were together from their teenage years and were truly a team in every sense of the word. Though she passed five years ago, their bond never faded, and we take comfort in knowing they are together again.

Vasili was loved by many, and his children, grandchildren, family, and friends will miss him greatly. His life was rooted in love, generosity, and presence, and his spirit will continue to live on through the many people he helped and the love he so freely gave.

May his memory be eternal, and may the love he so freely gave continue to live on through his family and all whose lives he touched.
