In Loving Memory of Toni Vidaic

With deep sadness, the family of Toni Vidaic, born Antonio Vitani, age 92, of New Hyde Park, NY, announces his unexpected passing on April 14, 2026.

Toni was born on April 22, 1933, to Dinka and Mile Vidaic, in Crno, Zadar. He was known for his love of family, his kindness and generosity to all around him, and his unending pride for his homeland. An immigrant who arrived in the U.S. in 1958 with very little, he built a life that reflected the American Dream, lifting up both his and his wife's families along the way and laying the foundation for the generations that followed.

He loved fruit and couldn't get enough oranges. He was a huge Yankees fan and we all know he is complaining about the Yankees in heaven right now.

Toni is survived by his wife, Simica, his two children, John and Dina, and his two grandchildren, Alyssa and Anthony. He will be deeply missed.
