Obituary of Aby Basil Joseph
Aby B. Joseph, 48, of Floral Park, NY, passed away peace-fully on July 4, 2026. He was born on November 15, 1977, to Abraham and Annamma Joseph.
Aby grew up in Queens, NY, and went on to build a career as a Radiologic Technologist. He was known for his unwa-vering loyalty, quick sense of humor, and the warmth he showed everyone he met. He was generous to a fault, always ready to give of his time and himself for others. Aby was a Yankees fan through and through, and he loved nothing more than relaxing with a good movie or his favorite music. His Catholic faith was a guiding force in his life, grounding him and those around him.
Aby shared an unbreakable bond with his siblings, Rekha and Siby, and his sister-in-law, Jenny, who loved him deep-ly and they were loved by him even more fiercely. He was an amazing uncle who would do anything for his nieces and nephews and was equally adored by them. All his cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends felt his warmth and were changed by it.
Aby is survived by his father, Abraham Joseph; his sister, Rekha Thomas (Isabella and Layla); and his brother, Siby Joseph, (Jenny, Michael and Ethan). He was preceded in death by his mother, Annamma Joseph.
Aby will be deeply missed but never forgotten. The joy that his loved ones felt in his presence and his impact on their lives is difficult to put into words. One thing is certain: he leaves behind a legacy of piety, love, kindness, and faith, and will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew him.
We will never be able to express how much Aby will be missed, but we take comfort in knowing he is now with God and his mother
