Obituary of John J. Chirayil

It is with deepest sadness that we are announcing the sudden demise of  Dr. John Chirayil (Dr. Babu) (79), Westbury, New York.  Dr. John passed away  on November 9, 2023, at 7 PM 

Dr. John is survived  by his wife, Dr. Susan (Merina)  and their children Jogee and Terry.

Dr. John was a retired medical doctor, India Catholic Association member, Syro malabar church member, and Pioneer Club social services active member. He was a  very good charitable person and spent money and time for charitable purposes.

Dr. John is the son of Late C.L Joseph  Chirayil and Late Thressiamma  Chirayil,  Ettumanoor, Kottayam. He has 14 siblings. He  came to the US  in 1972. He was from 1963 batch of Kottayam Medical College. He was a talented, dedicated doctor of internal medicine. He worked and retired from Creedmoor Hospital, Queens.

Wake is Sunday, Nov 12, from 1PM to 5PM at the Park Funeral Home, 2175 Jericho Tpk. Garden City Park, NY.  The funeral services is on Monday, November 13 at 10AM at St. Mary's Syro Malabar church,  NY

A Memorial Lunch will be held at
