Obituary of Marguerite Anne Kovach-Anta

Marguerite Anne Kovach-Anta, of Garden City, NY, passed away on Wednesday, February 14th, 2024.  She was 78 years old. Born in England and raised in France, she was 17 when she immigrated to the United States of America. She met her husband, Joe Kovach-Anta, on Jones Beach and she proudly became a citizen in 1976. She was a stewardess for Trans World Airlines (TWA) and also worked in the insurance industry.

She is survived by her daughters Claudine, Christine, and Natalie, along with her sons-in-law, Bill and Tim.  She also has 5 grandchildren Liam, Katharine, Aidan, Ava, and Kaelin, who all lovingly called her “Nanny”.  She loved to garden and crochet but most of all to spend time with her grandchildren and her three rescue dogs – Baby, Romeo and Fox.

Marguerite will be remembered for her poise, warmth and gorgeous smile.  If we listen closely, we can hear the rustle of angel wings and know you are still with us.  We find some comfort that you are reunited with Dad, a true love to last for eternity. We will always look for the cardinals and smile.  Heaven has gained an angel.  WE LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!
