Dear Appacha, Sharon and Family, Steven and Family,
Our heart felt condolences.
I remember visiting Ammachi in 2010 in NY, to realize how Vijayawada Joy Ammachi and Thangamma Ammachi looked identical! I went back to India and told Joe and Josh about this.
And then when I moved in NY 2014, Joe and I got to spend my first Christmas with all of you. I remember telling Ammachi that I din't want to get married to a "Malayalee Malayalee" (meaning a guy who has grown up in Kerala).
End of May 2016, when Pradeep, Joe and I visited Ammachi at the nursing home I introduced Pradeep to Ammachi. And she looked straight at Pradeep and said "So I am guessing you are not Malayalee Malayalee, fact that she married you!". We all broke into a fit of laughter! Even though she was going through a difficult time, she still had her jokes on and was very encouraging.
Our hearts, thoughts and prayers go out to all of you during this difficult time.
Love,
Nina & Pradeep, Joe & Josh Samuel

Dear, Thankachayan, Steven n family, Sharon n children,
It is with deep sorrow I am writing these few words - Thankammama, my aunt was a loving person and very dear to me. Being the FIRST neice in the family she showed much love and took care of me.
Thanking God for her life. She had a passion for the perishing souls and several times I have seen her giving tracts and sharing the gospel with different people. She has raised two God fearing children
In July 2016, I got a chance to stay few days with Thankammama and spend qualitive time with her - reading the Bible together, praying for each other, singing songs, sharing many childhood stories.....there are many sweet memories to write - but......
I really wanted to attend her funeral service but with the present situation I feel bad that I am not able to make it......
We all - Shajichayan, Joel, Jesse, Janet and their families and myself join in grieving with you all dear ones. Praise God that Thankammama is safe in the arms of Jesus and for the blessed hope that we will see her on that beautiful shore. Praying that God will comfort and fill you all with his peace.
Love,
Molly
