I worked with John in the MetLife Law Department for twenty-three years. He was a real scholarly gentleman with a marvelous wit. He showed up in my exercise class at the NY Sports Club despite obvious difficulties, only a few months ago. My wife Susan and I will always remember one night with the Kelshs at a theatre in Hempstead, the performance of which gave us much hilarity for many years.
