The world lost a beautiful person. I worked with Moonie 30 years ago at the Warwick hotel. He was always so kind, caring, and helpful to everyone he met. It was such a joy years later, to return to the Warwick with the hope of seeing Moonie to say hello and catch up. He was the consummate professional. To use a Yiddish expression, Moonie was a real Mensch -- a person of high integrity and honor. I will miss him greatly. My prayers and thoughts are with his family.

Recently heard of Moonie’s passing.
Sadness and shock that this great & rare soul is no longer walking amongst us. A very caring person, fun to be with and to me he was someone who talked about and demonstrated how we are each responsible to try and help others in their individual journey.
I Last saw Moonie maybe 1.5 years ago at the Warwick and we reminisced and took some photos. Like Steve, I first met Moonie about 40 years years ago and it made me a better person to have that friendship with him.
I will miss you Moonie very much and my prayers to your family as they mourn your passing.

i just heard the news about moonies passing. ...i worked with him for 8 years at the warwick...., after moving to boston i would stop by to say hello and catch up on old times.....he knew my dad who worked at the hilton and my brother who is a regular guest at the hotel....moonie was one of the finest people i knew.....man i am missing you very much....peace brother

I HAVE KNOWN MOONEY FOR CLOSE TO (4) YEARS. NEVER MEET HIM IN PERSON, BUT ALWAYS SPOKE TO HIM ON THE TELEPHONE. I WORKED IN THE LIMO BUSINESS, SO HIS HOTEL WAS ONE OF OUR CUSTOMERS.
