Obituary of David Zack

My beloved husband, David A. Zack, age 82, passed away on April 8, 2020. David was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather to Jude and Johanna Zack. He loved and adored his two children, Marjorie and Burton Zack. He was the son of Walter and Evelyn Zack of Miami Beach and brother-in-law to Robert Kavaliauskas and sister-in-law to Linda Walsh. In 1987 He married Ruth Kavaliauskas -- the love of his life. A devoted husband he went on to enjoy 32 years of happiness and wedded bliss. His great sense of humor made the marriage last as Ruth always said. He worked as a Field Director for the City of New York for Housing Preservation and Development for 24 years. He was always hardworking, diligent and energetic always looking for other new ventures including doing flea markets at Aqueduct Raceway on weekends and even getting involved in gambling slot machines. He graduated with a Masters degree in Accounting from NYU. He also became a New York licensed real estate broker. I lost the love of my life, my rock and soulmate. No one could ever replace him. He filled my life with happiness, excitement and adventure and he and I loved each other dearly. He will always be in my heart forever
