Obituary of Tanady D. Raphael

Tanady D. Raphael died on August 13, 2020 at the age of 79. She was born in Cairo, Egypt and emigrated to the United States in 1970. She was a longtime resident of Staten Island, NY before moving to Long Island. Beloved wife of the late Agban S. Raphael. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Sandy Zander (Christopher) and Michael Raphael (Nicole). Proud grandmother of Garrett Zander, Delaney Zander, Zachary Zander, James Raphael, Andrew Raphael, Daniel Raphael and Leah Raphael. Tana was a hardworking, loving, generous, and selfless mother, grandmother and friend. She was known for her holiday parties and her delicious middle eastern cuisine. Her infectious laughter, quick wit, and hospitable nature will be missed by all. In lieu of floral arrangements, donations can be made in memory of Tanady D.
