Obituary of Jacob George

Jacob George (“Reji”) of New Hyde Park, New York, was the beloved husband of Raji and father to Rachel. Reji was the son of Thomas & Mary George and brother to Linda & Donney John and Joseph & Lauren George. He was the grandson to the late Idichandy and Rahelamma Thomas and Joseph and Aleykutty Joseph, loving uncle to Maya and Jaxson John, and Ivan Ranjan. Reji passed away suddenly on November 30th, 2020. It is with profound sadness and a deep sense of loss that we mourn the unexpected passing of Reji. Reji was a highly regarded intellectual that had a relentless God-fearing spirit with a kind and gentle soul. His comical and joyful personality made those around him feel at ease. He was also an exceptional artist with a creative edge. Reji had an innate ability to enjoy the simple things of life and truly cherish those around him. He lived an enriched life with a successful career in pharmacy. However, Reji’s greatest pride was his role as a father and husband. For Reji, the sun, moon and stars could not shine any brighter in comparison to his Rachel. Reji always spoke to Rachel from a place of love, knowledge and understanding. Always the apple of his eyes, they shared an unbreakable father daughter bond. Reji was also a loving husband and best friend to Raji. There was no Reji without Raji, they were an undeniable match and most importantly, forever soulmates. Reji was a man who had wisdom of all things and a quiet observer. His witty sense of humor and deep understanding of the world drew many people toward him. Reji was a man that was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all. Reji will long be remembered for his commitment being a father and a husband who loved and honored his family deeply. At his core, Reji was a man of peace and humility. His thoughtful outlook on life guided his direction from a place of urgency to live life in the present day. Reji leaves this world behind but lives forever in our hearts. He is amongst the angels now in heaven, watching over his beloved family and friends.
