Also affected by his death are his cousins and allies from the Jean-Noel family, the Pierre-Jerome family, and the Eustache family. Mr. Jean-Noel was born in Grand Riviere, Haiti, the son of Alexandre Jean-Noel Fils and Anicette Pierre-Jerome. He was one of eight siblings (Genevieve Jean-Noel, Marie Mercie Jean-Noel, Cyrianne Jean-Noel, Hertha Jean-Noel, Mimose Jean-Noel, Cyriaque Jean-Noel and Roger Jean-Noel). Raphael completed his professional studies in Health Administration at Damien College in Haiti. Amongst his many achievements, Raphael worked as Director of Sanitation in Cap Haitian until he migrated to New York with his family in 1983. Raphael was a man of character, a model husband to his beloved wife Martha, a loving father and grandfather, and a leader in the Catholic Church where he served as the Eucharistic Minister at Our Lady of Refuge. Raphael devoted much of his time in post-retirement to mentor the youth and pray for the sick in his community. As man of God and patriarch of his family, Raphael raised his children with great honor. He taught us to love each other, to care for others, and to respect our elders. Raphael enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. Our family is grateful for the legacy he has left us. Family and friends will have the opportunity to pay their last tribute to our beloved father.
