Bernard, Alex and kelly My deepest sympathy goes out to you all and the rest of Gail’s family...thou words can't express the pain you are all experiencing, Just envelope your selves in the thought of the love you once shared with her..knowing Gail was a pleasure, she was kind, loving, outspoken and very funny. During my last conversation with her, I was amazed how courageous she was knowing death was eminent.

Dear Alex and Kelly
I have not seen you since you were six and a new born, respectively. Alex, I spent a wonderful afternoon with you at your grandmother 's with you telling me all about school, your baby sis you loved so much and your mum who brightened your the end of your school day when she collected you from school. The pride in your voice informed me that you loved her very much.
Speaking to your Aunty Sandra last night, I repeated something my mum said after my dad died and which I did not fully understand until after my mum died too: God knows best but sometimes His best hurts. I can only imagine the pain that you and Kelly are experiencing, so I just want to remind both of you that God loves you so very much more than you will ever know. He loves you and He loved your mum too.

Words just can’t say enough. Sending my heartfelt condolences to Alexis, Kele and family.
Gail was a good friend of mind going back to middle school, life separated us but we reconnected and picked up our friendship where we left off. She was one of my dearest friend. Gail and I would sometimes reminisce on the good times we shared growing up. One weekend she stayed with me at my parents’ home and we went out dancing we had such a good time. We never forgot those days.
Gail’s faith was strong in the LORD she was never afraid or waiver her faith. I’m confident that you are absent from the body and present with the LORD. Rest in peace my friend.

My condolences to the family of Mrs. Gail Matheson.
I am still at a lost for words. I had the pleasure of working with Gail for approximately eight years. I tell you if you wanted the truth with no filter, Gail was your girl! Kept it real and honest. After I left the job I would go back to visit and she would be the first to ask “where’s my boy”. She was referring to my son who is now 13. When I use to bring him to work as a toddler he took a liking to Gail and she would give him sticky notes to write on. She would make him spell his words and practice writing his name. Years later I would visit the job to see everyone and she would point out to me “look behind me” and it was the sticky note taped to the wall behind her desk. “I still got it” she would say. She kept it there and never threw it away. Kindhearted, humble and honest soul with a good heart. She loved her girls and talked about them a lot. So proud of being a mother and the relationship she shared with them. She would always talk about her nephew Ian, and how proud she was of him and his accomplishments as well. Fortunately i had the pleasure of meeting and working with him. She was so excited when I told her that I finally met him when I went back to the job to visit everyone. I am going to miss her laugh and that side eye look she would give when you know she was not having it.
Gail you will be missed and I am happy to say I had the opportunity to know you. Blessings always and sleep in peace.
