Obituary of Cecilia Rita Puma

Cecilia was born on October 14, 1932, In Manhattan NY and died peacefully on January 24, 2021 at the age of 88. She lived in New York with her husband Angelo and their four children. They were happily married for 62 years. Cecilia was a dedicated and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She adored her family and her greatest pleasure was spending time with her loved ones. As a young girl, she volunteered in a catholic orphanage providing love and care for the babies as well as active in the local catholic church. She was involved with her children's education, and active PTA member, volunteered in her children's school and later in life became a New York City School secretary and paraprofessional with in school system. Cecilia had many hobbies, with a passion for oil painting of beautiful scenes of flowers, landscapes and seascapes. In her leisure time she enjoyed tending to her gardens, filling our house with music and decorating our home. She also enjoyed going to operas with her sister. Cecilia lived a wonderful joyful life and was loved by her family and friends. Cecilia will be remembered for her thoughtfulness and her unconditional kindness and love.
