I am just shocked to see this news. Aunt Carol will always make me smile. When I think of her, I always see her with a Smile, and a cigarette talking to someone. Or when she would Whistle for us to come eat when I was watching Dominque and Anthony at North Beach. I will always remember our Friday nights in Connecticut. Going over for dinner, or coffee and laughs. The Lake house and then when they Built this Amazing house on the way over to South Beach.
I am sure that Anthony and Dominque will laugh at this one. Maybe my Dad and her are going after the raccoons in heaven, remember the baloney with the water, and they would sit there and eat away.
Only Aunt Carol and Charlie,(my Dad) would feed everyone who came to the house.. ;-)
I am so sorry for Uncle Dom and the kids.. Well you are not kids anymore. I hope you know you both have made amazing lives for yourselves and you should know that Aunt Carol cherished you both so much.. She will always be there to talk too, but it will be in the stars!!!
Dominque... I love you sweetie... What a mom you are with your two children. And Anthony... your kids are beautiful. I love you all and I am still in Shock.. I let my mom know today, and she was hiking of her last week.

I first met Carol when I was hired to be the caregiver of her mother. It did not take long to recognize that she loved her family and especially her mother. She spent every weekend and holiday with her. It did not matter if it was at home or in a hospital room, her devotion was unquestionable. My respect for her grew as I saw how selflessly she cared for her mother. Such love won my heart and deep respect. I will truly miss her.

Carol was many things to me. She was my client and my landlord, but her most impactful role in my life was that of my friend. I have such wonderful memories of her - chatting in the office of Monte, having dinner or drinks with her and her BFF, the wonderful Carol Brasner. It was an honor to have known her and to have been a part of her life. She was truly a role model for me - in business and in life. She will live in my heart forever. I am so deeply sorry for the loss of this dynamic woman.
