Obituary of Alix Alexandre

Alix Alexandre passed away on August 11th, 2021 at the age of 44. He was born June 6th , 1977 in Port-Au-Prince , Haiti to his mother Marie Paula Gachette and father, Andre Alexandre who passed when he was a young boy. He migrated with his mother to Queens, NY in 1982 where he attended Martin Van Buren H.S in Queens Village , NY and made so many long-lasting friendships and memories. Alix was a true jack of all trades. He learned many skills and was a handy and versatile person. He was always ready and available to help those around him. His friends testify that he was the type of person to take the shirt off his back to help anyone. One of Alix’s best qualities was his gift of gab. Alix knew how to work the room at any event or party and made a friend wherever he went. He had the most handsome and contagious smile and we will all hold his memory close to our heart. Alix is survived by his beautiful daughter, Victoria Anastasia Alexandre , his loving mother , Marie Paula Gachette, his adoring sisters, Richette Barthold, Margaret Pierre, Nadia Jean-Baptiste, Lydie Alexandre, Marie Andre Delphine Alexandre, Fabiola Alexandre, his brothers, Allen Alexandre, Alex Alexandre, Jean Alexandre, his brother-in-law, Jean Barthold, his nephews Richie Barthold, Allen Jr. Alexandre, Nirtz Pierre, Bradly Pierre, David Pierre, Jonathan Jean-Baptiste, Anthony Jean-Baptiste, Widgi Joseph , Samuel Lorcy ,his nieces, Jeana Barthold-Gratch, Christie Barthold ,Veronica Alexandre, Shakinah Lorcy-Olufotebi , Melissa Jean-Baptiste, great nieces and nephews, Amayah Barthold, Jaylah Barthold, Kash Gratch and also will be remembered by the Damas Family, his numerous cousins, nieces ,nephews and extended family.
