First Donny and I would like to send all our love, prayers and thoughts to Florence, Jenny and Guardy. I cannot begin to imagine your pain. My memories of Edgard will always be filled with three of his character traits. One, his LAUGH. It was full, it was loud and it was true to the emotions he was feeling at that moment. Two, his PERSEVERANCE. Edgard's journey to complete his doctorate was not easily paved but he never gave up, never stopped studying and in the end he reached that goal of Dr. Laborde. Finally and most importantly is his LOVE for Florence. Like the vast oceans, his love was deep, endless to the eye and all around her. He embodied the true meaning of commitment and unconditional love; a model of how a man and woman should live their vows. My heart is full of sorrow for the great loss my dear Florence must carry, as her true love goes home to our GOD.
I pray for GOD's strength to carry the Laborde Family through this time and beyond. I love you all.
