Obituary of Glenn Anthony Schifano

Glenn Anthony Schifano, age 61, died Friday, March 11, 2022 From, New Hyde Park, NY. Son of the late Jean and Louis Schifano. He is survived by his Sister Vikki and brother in law Randy Miller. Nephews Andy and Dennis DePietro. His wife Gia Schifano, stepchildren Brianna and Patrick Yannucci, and all the cousins. Glenn graduated from NHP Memorial in 1978 and graduated from Molloy College in 1999 with a degree in Music Therapy. He retired from the Winthrop Cancer Center for Kids in 2017. He was dedicated to their cause and healing, raising money through events he created such as “Rock to Beat”. He has been entertaining NHP, up and down Long Island and beyond, with his band His Boy Elroy bringing music and good times to all who would gather. He was a brilliant musician and singer. Glenn had a huge generous heart and loved his family and friends with abundance. To quote Glenn “Music is my Life and my Life is music”.
