Obituary of Henry C. McMahon

Henry (Hank) C. McMahon of Westbury, NY (formerly Middle Village, NY) passed away suddenly on June 11. He is survived by his wife and soulmate of almost 58 years Marie (Peloso), loving father to his three sons late Henry Jr., Edward and Robert, daughter in laws Maria and Romina, three grandchildren Michael, Matthew and Melanie and his siblings, sisters Elizabeth and Katherine & his late twin brother James. And son to his late parents Henry & Catherine (O'Brian) Henry was born on December 19, 1939 and raised in the Bronx NY. He enlisted in the US Marine Corps after high-school and once honorably discharged, had a distinguished career at Citibank as a Vice President for over thirty years. He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather & uncle and above all, he was a man of faith and devoted catholic as he helped many parishioners at St Adalbert's in Queens with a bereavement group that he charted with his wife in the 1980's & 90's. He enjoyed sports specifically the NY Jets and NY Mets and loved all types of gambling whether it was daily scratch-offs, various football pools or periodic visits to the casino. Henry was loved by all the people and lives he touched during his 82 years whether it was his family, or the various friends he made at Citibank or through the two Queens & Nassau neighborhoods that he lived in. He will be remembered in our hearts forever...
