Obituary of Purandaye Chandra Maharaj Saeed

Chandra Maharaj, mother of Zahra and Natasha and of the late Sharon Singh. Wife of the late Rab Nawaz Saeed. Sister of Leela and Kamla Maharaj and a beloved aunt to her nieces and nephews, was laid to rest on August 9th. 2022. Born in the village of Caroni Settlement, Trinidad, Chandra's boundless kindness and concern for her family members and strangers alike, will always be remembered. Her unimaginable passion toward her work as a business owner in both Texas and New York for over twenty years, was always awe-inspiring, and she is lovingly remembered by all those she met during those years. We will forever cherish her humor, her excellent cooking and her one in a million personality. May her soul rest in eternal peace and may she be joined by those she missed dearly.
