Obituary of John Joseph Keegan

Obituary  John Joseph Keegan of Whiting, NJ (formerly of Floral Park, NY) passed suddenly on August 12. He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years Maryann Keegan (Dowling). He was a devoted and loving father of Maura and Eileen (Michael Niewender) and a dear brother to Donna (Ron Pfeffer). Loving grandfather to Megan Niewender, Kaitlyn Racz (Paul Racz), Melissa Niewender, and Great Grandfather to Vincent Racz. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Cecelia, and sister Katherine. John was also Uncle to many nieces and nephews, and a friend and mentor to many.  John was an honorable man who served his country in the US army. Up until his passing, John was a dedicated longtime member of Kiwanis and Circle K International.  He is cherished and missed by us all, in lieu of flowers please consider donating to the Polycystic Kidney Disease Foundation (PKD).
