Obituary
Obituary of Louis James Karitenos
It is with great sadness that the family of Louis Karitenos announces his passing after a long battle with cardiac illness on January 11, 2023 at the age of 72. Louie will lovingly be remembered by his siblings Bess & John Tsiakos, Helene & John Vlachos, his nephews and nieces, Ari (Helen), James (Theofani), Deanna (Dean), May (Sean), Ted (Maria), Emily (Phil), Christina (Zach), his great nephews and nieces, Peter, John, Ava, Niko, Yianni, Vassia, George, Eleni, Ioanna, Olivia, Eleni, Jack, Sophia, and all of his many loving cousins and friends.
Louie enjoyed lively conversation about sports, politics, and food. He was a skilled baker and loved preparing delicious desserts for his friends and family.
He found tremendous joy in playing with his great nieces and nephews and in turn they adored their uncle Louie. Their faces always lit up when he entered the room. He will forever be remembered as fun-loving Uncle Louie. May his memory be eternal.
