Obituary of Ronald Charles Jesberger

Ronald C. Jesberger, born on January 17, 1933, in Richmond Hill, NY passed away peacefully on May 2, 2023.

Proud alumnus of Brooklyn Technical High School (class of 1951) which he studied aeronautical engineering. He was drafted into the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was stationed in Germany, where he worked as a tank mechanic.

Following his time in the army, Ronald was an entrepreneur who started his own flooring business before venturing into the automotive world where he opened a wrecking yard- becoming the first in the industry to specialize in used foreign automotive parts. 

Outside of working hours, Ronald pursued his passion of racing. He was a 60-year member of the Sports Car Club of America, a feat achieved by only a handful of people. He was known for his expertise and skill on the track, and his love for racing never wavered. He also had a keen interest in the stock market, love for the art of conversation and had an insatiable appetite for knowledge not to mention a remarkable memory. 

Ronald was married to Joan Jesberger for 19 years, and although they eventually divorced, they remained great friends. He is survived by his three children, Diane (married to Russell Pajer), Roberta Jesberger, and Ronald Jesberger (married to Jaclyn), as well as his five grandchildren. 

Ronald Jesberger will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
