Obituary of Carolina Berardi

With great sadness, we regret to announce the passing of Carolina Berardi (nee Santopadre), 92 of Elmont, NY.  Born in Boville Ernica, Italy to Amato Santopadre and Liberta Lisi.  She was married to Rocco Berardi in 1950 who preceded her in death in 2016.  She immigrated from Italy in 1971 to be close to her first grandchild.  She is predeceased by her siblings Americo and Anna.  She leaves behind her loving and devoted children, Marisa and Luigi and their spouses, Catherine and Bruno.  As well as her loving sisters, Maria, Lina and Adelaida.  Her heart belonged to her grandchildren Patrizia, Sabrina, Luigi Jr, Gianpiero, Danny, Christina and Marco along with their spouses Franco, Danielle, Michelle, Jillian and Ronnie.  She was uniquely blessed to have close relationships with a host of great-grandchildren, Max, Leo, Lucas, Ava, Ben, Giuseppe, Gemma, Giuliana, Alex, and Mason.  She will be sorely missed but lovingly remembered by three generations of the family she created.
