Schmidt-Daniel G on July 31,2023 of Baldwin Harbor,N.Y. Cherished Husband of Catherine (nee:Yannotti).Devoted Brother of Patrick (Fran) & Richard (Vivian). Loving Brother in Law of Madeline Proscia ,Julie Monroe(Michael) and George Asadoorian (Late Michelle).Adored  son in law of Joan Yannotti also survived many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.Dan was the former owner of Davisons Boat Yard (East Rockaway,N.Y. Dan himself was an avid boater who loved being on his boat as much as possible.Dan was also a lover and active owner of Thoroughbred  Racehorses.He also served as a NYTHA board member as well as the NY Thoroughbred Breeders Association the Backstretch Pension Fund and Big Brothers and Sisters of Long Island .Dan was a Big Dallas Cowboys Fan he also loved teaching his nephews Jonathan,Joseph and Andrew all his handyman skills as well as his many Italy and Disney trips with Cathy and all his nieces and nephews.He was a Terrific human being who left us way too early his memory & legacy will be Forever in our Hearts….
