Obituary of Rajdei Singh

Rajdei Singh, 93, passed away January 6, 2023, at home, in Astoria, New York.

Born on June 7, 1930 in Berbice, Guyana, Rajdei was the daughter of Phulmattie and Surat Singh.

Rajdei  was married to Parsram Singh,  with whom she celebrated 75 years of marriage, prior to his passing in 2022.  She is survived by her four children Leela (Lekh) Hardial, Rohit (Shanta)Singh, Dev Singh and Gloria (Mark) Wilson, as well as grandchildren Nadira (Ray), Kimberlie (Aaron), Hemrita, Matthew (Erin), Michael, Michelle, Melodie, Mark and Alexi as well as 9 great-grandchildren.  Rajdei was preceded in death by son, Ray (Karrie), daughter Bea and grandson David.

Rajdei loved caring for her family and is well-known for her kindness frequent hugs and generous heart.  Rajdei attended Evangel Church while living in New York.
