Dear family and friends,
I, John Mathew, nephew of our dearest David uncle would like to express my deepest grief and sadness, who left an indelible mark on our lives. With a heavy heart, I would like to share some memories and bid a final farewell.
In our early childhood, I remember our David uncle.., very fun-loving, compassionate, and generous.
During our school holidays, both summer & winter vacations, we siblings would have a whale of a time at our Ammamma's place, where he and his siblings lived. It used to be fun-time.. going for movies, outings, and the ex-gratia money we would receive from him for giving him a head massage, that he loved so much.
I remember his warm smile, his infectious laughter, and his sense of humor. His presence was a blessing, and his absence would be deeply felt.
Rest in peace, dear David uncle. We will miss you whenever we visit the U.S. in the near future. Your love and legacy will never be forgotten.

Dearest David Uncle,
You truly were a great uncle and I pray for your soul to rest in peace.
I have so many great memories of the special moments I had with you. You were a fun loving, jovial and a wonderful uncle. Growing up, you were always around us (my brothers and sister). You took us to so many Indian movies during our summer vacation at your house in Bombay. Those were fun times. When I was 18, you accompanied me to my first job interview and I got that job. I was so happy.
During my visits to your house in Long Island, our conversations usually revolved around Indian movies, songs and Indian street food. We both missed India.
Last month, I was fortunate to have gotten to see you on FaceTime (thanks to Amy) and wish you 'Happy Birthday'. I'm so thankful and grateful to God. You looked so good. You were concerned that I had lost weight. I never imagined that would be the last time I would hear your voice.
Your sudden death came as a rude shock. The thought that I will never see you again will weigh heavily on my heart. You will never be forgotten. Those old childhood memories will live with me forever. You will be much missed and Clinton and I love you! Rest in peace David uncle!
