Andrew and I grew up together on the same block, it’s so hard to process this loss and I am so very sorry and send my condolences to Joan, Dennis and family. My memories of Andrew… You could always learn something from Andrew, given how bright he was in many topics that he was all too eager to share his insight on. His brilliance was evident very early on. I recall many hours just talking on the front lawn, just catching up and listen to him teach me something. He was a very kind and polite person, always generous with his time. His gift for music is also something that brings back fond memories, as you could hear him prepare for a mass on his organ or reciting Hallelujah. In recent years since I moved away, I know he became more passionate about conservation and making a home for his lifelong love of birds and other wildlife by way of planting many trees in his yard. Every time I look over the fence when I come home it will be a reminder of his dedication to nature and his love for birds in the form of the planted trees which will remain always in his memory. Rest in peace Andrew and know you will be missed by many.
