Dear Mom, I know you are now in heaven with Craig and though that gives me great comfort, I'm also saddened that we won't be able to communicate the same way we did when you were here with us on earth. I remember moving out of the house and promising you I would call you everyday. And I did. We would always talk and if it was for a few minutes just to say hi, that was ok. You gave your boys great lives, Mom, and we told you that and I hope you believed us because it is so true. You will forever be the matriarch of the Rivera family. You will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing you. I love you so much and will never forget you. I will apply everything you taught me to my children and that is the greatest gift a mother could ever give a son. I still need you though so whenever I invoke your name, I know you will hear me with the same patience, understanding and love you always gave me during your earthly life and provide me with the same great advice, too. I love you and I know you are no longer suffering and are in God's warm embrace.
