After I retired from the Marine Corps in 1973, I settled in California and unfortunately did not keep in touch with my family. Luckily Patty's son Vinnie, my nephew, contacted me in 2010 and I was able to establish a relationship with my sister Patty even though it was via telephone calls. To say I'm sorry for the Cristiano's loss would be an understatement. Through Facebook and conversations with Patty, I was introduced to a wonderful family with strong ties to each other. And in may ways I'm sure Patty was the matriarch of the family. I know you will miss her as will I. My family and I offer our deepest condolences for your loss.
