You are the beautiful legacy of Mr. Clifford’s love. Karen shared her father’s birthday video and how precious a love you all share. That Agape Love is eternal. God bless you all.

Being a father is a tough job, but Uncle Tommy did it so well and really enjoyed loving his children. For much of my school age years, I lived on the same street as my cousins the Clifford’s and have many fond memories of spending time in their home. Uncle Tommy’s job included working shifts, and on those mornings when he returned home from the graveyard shift, he would be in the kitchen whipping up some of his famous French Toast. We were fortunate to live across the street from P.S. 186, and Uncle Tommy would enjoy playing with us on the swings, monkey bars and the old timey ‘merry-go-round’! I will truly miss one of the great family men of our time. We were all blessed to call him our Uncle. Love, Maryalice

A Life Well Lived, is a life that lives on after you. Tom found this though hard work and his love for his family. He was always so proud of his children’s accomplishments. From His sons NYPD career, his daughters Legal Career, and to his extreme dedication and loving bond with Eileen- you all gave him much to be proud of, you all gave him, A Life Well Lived
So many of us knew him as Uncle Tommy! Always a pleasant smile and a boisterous laugh. He always found time to sit down and talk, even to a young kid, in a room full of adults, he would have a full conversation for as long as required, as if you were the only two in the room. He will certainly be missed by so many but he will never be forgotten.
-Denis Geoghegan and Family.

My Dad was the best! He loved life and always had a big smile on his face. Dad was a father who loved his family very much. He and Mom always made sure that we were taken care of. Dad also appreciated and valued hard work, as evidenced by his putting in 44 years with Con Edison. I used to watch how Dad reacted to various situations. He was tough when necessary, and as gentle as a lamb when appropriate. Dad's youngest daughter, Eileen, needed extra love and nurturing. Dad was always there!! He visited Eileen every waking day, without exception. He would bring a "goodie bag" with treats. Eileen loved it! I always wanted to emulate my Dad's love and kindness for his children. As a father and grandpa now, I think I have done that with my children and grandchildren. Thanks again, Dad! I used to take Dad to many medical appointments. Afterwards, I would offer to take Dad to lunch. It would go like this," Hey Dad, how about a couple of pints of Guinness?" Dad's response was often, "Why certainly young man!" I miss you already, Dad. Love you!!! Please rest in peace and may God bless you. Your son, Thomas

He will always be in our hearts ♥️. He was a very generous man and loved his children and grandchildren very much. I’m sure Kitty was waiting there with open arms. Send some signs. I’ll be looking for them. R.I.P.

Thomas Clifford always had positive and encouraging words for all those around him. So many times I remember hearing my uncle Tom and Kitty saying to me how proud they were of me. Even the smallest of all accomplishmemts or kindness they would notice and praise. To have that kind of love and support in my life has been a blessing beyond words and often I feel that in my heart even without realizing it is there. I never once heard a negative word or a complaint from my uncle in all those years. He has raised 3 wonderful people who I love dearly and are also like both of their parents wonderful in so many ways. Thomas will be missed but his memory and all the good works that he did throughout the years will be remembered. Rest in peace.

From the bottom of my heart, I would like to share your family's grief of losing such a beloved father. I saw firsthand Karen's loving care when she would bring Thomas to the Marian Servant's meetings over the past few years when he visited her in Georgia. He had a zest for life and a ready smile for everyone. Then suddenly, while visiting, he got very sick and developed sepsis. Thomas would recover but his health was compromised. I believe that God was giving Karen and her brother extra time for a greater good as God helped both of them in their struggles taking care of their father. I want to thank Thomas and his family he leaves behind for they are an inspiration and a testament to love for all of us!

I’ll always remember Uncle Tom’s laughter. At every family party (and we had many) at every dinner he always brought his sense of humor and laughter.
He was a man of principals with a strong sense of right and wrong. He was easy to talk to and always willing to share advice. I’ll always remember him as a very stand up guy who loved his family very much.. Aunt Kitty and he raised 3 wonderful people, who I’m proud to have as cousins.
He will be missed very much.
Love and peace to you Uncle Tommy, Chris Ritter

As the 7th of 8 kids I always remember my brother Tom being a constant presence in my life. We created many memories over the years from the days when I was just a kid and he would pick me up to spend weekends at his home in Massapequa with him, his wife Kitty and their children to more recent family gatherings including all of our children and extended family. My brother was a good man, a wonderful husband and a great dad and I will miss him very much.
