When I first began doing the hospital ministry with Brother Varkey, his fearlessness in Christ approaching patients under arrest was the power of God at work in him. Some of the young men were strong and dangerous looking for escape opportunities, Varkey would approach them and say " I am the minister here to pray for you and I go to the prisons and I am not afraid to sit with you to pray". He did this when everyone else would stand back. Almost all prisoners appreciated his prayers and welcomed him. Brother Varkey introduced me and trained me in several ministries. Thank you Brother Varkey for everything and I look forward to seeing you in Heaven. Love, Brother George (Greg)
