I know Miranda from the Association of Piano Teachers of Long Island. Miranda served as our correspondent secretary for many years, making a great deal of time to contact old and new members, ensuring everyone was informed. She created very clear information lists for us. Miranda has a PhD in Music and generously offered her expertise by providing workshops for our association.
Miranda is also a woman of faith, and we sometimes discuss church praise songs we both enjoy singing. I know that the young people's ministry is always close to her heart. I always appreciate talking to Miranda; she is incredibly supportive and kind. While she has her own opinions about things, she never forces them on others. Her gentle demeanor and vast wisdom have earned her much respect in our community.
I will always cherish the memory of Miranda's beautiful and skillful piano playing at our annual teacher showcase. She conveyed her music with great clarity and emotion. Miranda will be deeply missed by all of us.
